About Me

Jennifer Salmons (she/her/hers) was awarded her B.S. in Psychology and a Masters Of Science in Educational Psychology and Guidance with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. For over twenty years, Ms. Salmons has been a Professional Counselor in both Illinois and Missouri where she has provided all levels of care in hospitals, community mental health centers,  clinics, and private practices. 


While practicing in Illinois, Ms. Salmons developed two protocol-approved programs regarding violent offenders and domestic violence. Upon moving to Missouri in 2000 began developing a domestic violent offender program and being part of the committee to design the Missouri protocols.  In addition to being an integral part of this program to treat violent offenders in Missouri, Ms. Salmons has served on the board of directors for the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic Violence and additionally created program criteria geared towards educating Missouri local and state prosecutors, judges, law enforcement, victims, advocates, and offenders.
